Extract of the 10th Anniversary Celebration and AGM

The Annual General Meeting and 10th Anniversary celebration began with one minute silence for three hartlietes Mr. K. Pooranampillai, Mr. K. Nadarajah and Prof. C. J. Eliezer who passed away recently. Dr. S. V. Kasynathan, Dr. T. Srithar and Mr. S. Nadarajah also paid tribute to them followed by the President's welcome address. There were around 70 members and families present. Rani Eliezer, wife of late Prof. Eliezer ( founder president ) and Jeyarani Maheswaren, wife of late Mr.Maheswaran ( first secretary ) inaugurated the 10 th anniversary celebration by cutting the birthday cake.

With routine AGM proceedings such as presentations of the minutes of the last AGM, the annual report and the financial statement for the year 2000 - 2001, election of office bearers for 2001 - 2002, and a traditional dinner the meeting was concluded.
