Cancelled: Sports Day 2001 - HCPPA (UK)
June 16, 2001
Due to unforeseen circumstances, including
the sudden departure of the sports secretary to Colombo to
attend the funeral of his father in law who died of a heart
attack, it had made it impossible to have the sports day as
planned on the 23rd of June.
The committee therefore regrets that the event had to be
cancelled.
The committee will be in touch with the respective members
regarding ticket sale refunds.
Our Newsletter to be issued in July will give you details
of future events.

Dear UK Hartleyite:
Once again it is time for fellow Hartleyite and
friends to get together under the banner of HCPPA(UK)
and enjoy an afternoon of sport to be held on
Saturday 23rd June 2001 between 1:30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.
at Heathlands School, Wellington Road South, Hounslow, Middx.
The tickets are priced at £3.50 for adults
(children under 10 free) and parking £2 per car. For tickets
please contact any of the members mentioned below. To participate
in the interesting events, straight away contact Mr. M Ellalan
on 020 8551 7020. Tickets are sold at the gate as well. Plenty
of short eats and soft drinks will be on sale throughout the event.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind those
Hartleyite who have not yet paid their membership subscription
for the current year (2001) to do so kindly without postponing
any more.
Our annual dinner and the AGM will be held at the C&L County
Club Hall in Ruislip, Middlesex on Saturday 3rd November 2001.
Details about the event will be notified later.
The Chief Guest for the Sports day will be Mr & Mrs Santhalingam.
Finally, we wish to thank you for your continued support and
look forward to meeting all the Hartley past pupils, families and
friends in numbers just to enjoy, and participate in the fun.
