Mrs. Cecelia Kunamani Rajaratnam
Mrs. Cecelia Kunamani Rajaratnam (Retired Deputy Principal/ Methodist Girls High School, Point Pedro), beloved wife of Mr. J. S. Rajaratnam (Retired teacher/ Hartley College, Point Pedro) entered glory on the 8th of September, 2010. Funeral service was held on the 11th September, 2010 at "Bethany", Beach Road, Point-Pedro.
She was the eldest daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Gunanayagam (Retired teacher/ Hartley College), precious mother of Sophia Rajini Dalima, Dr. R. E. Rajaseelan (Hartley College/1973-1977, E. R. Rajabalan (Hartley College/1974-1979), Dr. R. J. Rajaselvam (Hartley College/1978-1985) and R. R. Rajakaruna (Hartley College/1980-1987), beloved mother-in-law of Quintus Dalima, Nilmini Rajaseelan, Ruklanthie Rajabalan, Dr. Arunika Gunawardena and Maithili Navaratnarajah, and beloved grand-mother of Dilan Dalima, Natasha Dalima, Jonathan Rajaseelan, Cheryl Rajabalan, Anisha Rajaselvam, Andrew Rajaratnam and Elena Rajaratnam.
