Mr. Kandiah Sivapatham

Mr. Kandiah Sivapatham passed away in the early hours of Thursday the 3rd March 2011 in Sydney, Australia.

He is the loving husband of Nesamany, loving only child of Late Rangoon Kandiah and Sivagamipillai and loving Son-In-Law of Late Seevaratnam Surveyor and Nagaratnam, Puloly North, Thumpalai, Point-Pedro.

He studied at Hartley College and later in Jaffna Central. He was a well known cricketer and a popular all round sports person in late 1940's and early 50's. He started his carrier as a forest officer and retired from services as the Assistant Operation Manager for Sri-Lankan State Timber Co-operation.
