Hartley once again has the Academic Excellence at the G.C.E (A/L) 2007 Exam.
The scholastic achievements are:
- First Place in Maths Stream at the District Level: V.Rajeevan
- First Place in Bio-Stream at the District Level: S.Nimalan
- Third Place in Maths at All-Island Level
- First Place in Maths at All-Island Level in the Tamil medium
